My Chamber Awaits...

Tomorrow is the long-awiated MRI (& arthrogram) day @ Washoe. The MRI takes place in a cool, vanilla scented tube-like chamber that is actually a big magnet, & it looks much like the one in the picture. I go in @ 1 p.m.

You may be wondering: why vanilla scent? Because "vanilla is calming..." Really. So I ask you - what IS calming?

calm is the night you wake up and hear your baby breathing without gasping. gasping babies make me scared. My little son is doing much better with his gasping in his sleep. It hasn't been nearly as bad as Elijah's what, with him dying about every ten minutes. that was fun. All is good. Have fun in there. That thing looks like a euphamism. :/

The angel Eric appearing at the foot of my bed heralding, "No more problems for you, God said," while gently laying Christmas presents all around the room before stroking my once fevered brow and disappearing in a flash of confetti and Hershey's kisses.

I'll keep you in my prayers tomorrow.

Shontell- I'm with you on the being able to let down & relax w/the sleeping baby. Worrying about their breathing is something that we shouldn't have to worry about.

TPT- Eric? Never met him, but I can get into the Hershey Kisses - not much of a "Hugs" guy though.

I don't really have anything to say about calm right now, but I'll be praying for you anyway! :)

The smell of an apple-cinnamon candle/plug-in, in a dark room- really calms me down. Give it a try. I'm praying good things over your happenings, today.

nice cup of chai tea with nora jones or jewel in the back round and lots of candles all with either vanilla(my favorite smell) or my carmel apple smelling candle. it smells so good you would swear there are cookies in the oven which is another calming effect for me. a nice fire or a dip in the hot tub. back rub from the moses. i could go on but i won't.
are you clastrophobic?? do you need that vanilla smell?

Moses gives back rubs? Hmmm...

I'll be blogging my MRI experience later on as soon as I get internet access @ home fixed.
